AUTHENTIC WORK EXPERIENCE
Within the scope of specific, time-bound assignments, interns complete meaningful work as a member of a team, and are encouraged to take initiative and shape projects with a fresh approach. They are treated and perform as professionals. Arts Interns finish the program having gained experience, skills, knowledge, and relation-ships that equip them for a future in the field.
Flexible and tailored to meet the interns needs and interests. We realize a single type of internship program won’t work for everyone, so we work to develop the internship to meet the needs and skills of the individual. Through conversation we figure out how best you can help us and which project your skill set is best suited for.
Typically our internships are 3 months in length. However the duration can vary depending on if the internship is tied to an academic program or other external factor.
Can internships be used for school credit. We’ve worked with institutions in the past to arrange internships opportunities for students in exchange for academic credit.
Interns may be converted to a permanent position (or, in some limited circumstances, to a term position lasting 3 months) within 90 days of successful completion of the program.
